Aamar has over 15 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry in Pakistan. Currently, Aamar enjoys the Director Business Development and Projects role at HRSI.

Aamar started his career with SmithKline Beecham (SB) in product management and in his time at SB (later GSK) he was exposed to nearly all sales and marketing functions including product management, institutional sales, regulatory and sales management.

He has also worked with the leading private sector medical university and hospital for 2 years giving him a unique insight to the healthcare business from the other side of the fence. Aamar has setup a new pharmaceutical company for a leading Pakistani business conglomerate and has marketed pharmaceutical raw materials in Pakistan as well as regional countries.

Aamar is highly skilled in dealing with public sector organizations as well as developing and lobbying with KOL’s at the highest level.

Aamar is a member of the Rotary Community and is a past-president of his club in Karachi; he is also an avid outdoors man and heads the largest association of hunters in the country working towards conservation of wildlife and its habitat.
