Biography
Leonie Fischer has been involved in the HR Consulting fraternity since the early eighties. She is a graduate from the University of Pretoria with 30 years commercial experience. Since 1986 she has specialized in HR consulting, focusing on executive search, executive coaching, contracting, recruitment advertising, advertised response, interim management projects, talent mapping and HR outsourcing.
Spending 13 years of her consulting career within a listed South African human resources entity, Adcorp holdings gave her the foundation and understanding of running a best of breed consulting outfit. During this period she held Director and leadership roles in Consulting, Business Development, Training and Development, and Operations. Within the same group she was the Managing Director for Admark, holding a national portfolio.
She identified a gap in the marketplace in 1999 for a niche consultancy at the top end of the market to assist clients in the acquisition and retention of talent, specialising in Executive Search. She started to consult independently for large organisations initially and opened her offices in the year 2000.
